TVD Music Saturday for August 10th, 2013 (Kinetic Harvest)

Every Saturday you'll find a new track of music to enjoy of the videogame related variety. What you'll find hear is music that might not necessarily be music directly from a videogame, but be inspired by it at the very least.

This week features a track from the soundtrack of the Sidhe Interactive title Shatter. A game that is a must play for anyone, what makes Shatter really shine is its electronic music score. From top to bottom every track is fantastic, although the track that really sticks with you is Kinetic Harvest because it's the first track you hear when you play the game. Just one listen is all it takes for it to stick, in your head of course.

TVD Music Saturday for July 27th, 2013

Every Saturday you'll find a new track of music to enjoy of the videogame related variety. What you'll find hear is music that might not necessarily be music directly from a videogame, but be inspired by it at the very least.

This week comes a track by Liquid Stranger featuring Robotti titled Nintendo. It's one of the most original Nintendo anthems I've ever heard which is saying a lot since there isn't any actual Nintendo music/samples to be heard. Prepare for some heavy dubstep beats.

Def Jam Rapstar's Fat Joe gives his endorsement

Def Jam Rapstar isn't short on big name's in the rap game pimping this title out by not only being in it, but spreading the gospel about how "dope" this game is going to be. In this case -- insert Fat Joe. You know, that same Fat Joe that isn't Heavy D. What? I've met Heavy D ( and yeah, yeah, yeah, who's Heavy D right?). The same can't be said for Fat Joe. I've got to represent, man. Anyway, listen in as Fat Joe drops some good words for Konami's lastest entry into the music game genre they created. Fingers are crossed that this isn't another Rock Revolution in the sales department.
